Josh grew up in Auburn, Alabama and earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Auburn University before returning to Texas to attend law school. Josh chose Baylor University for its nationally recognized trial advocacy program and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2014.
Even while in school, Josh clerked for a personal injury attorney and fell in love with a career where he could help his clients through the challenges that others’ irresponsibility can cause. He has been helping Plaintiffs with their personal injury cases ever since. Josh has handled thousands of personal injury cases and won millions of dollars for his clients over the course of his career. Josh is committed to his clients and will walk the distance alongside them to make certain they do not suffer from others’ negligence.
Josh is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association where he serves as a member of the Advocates’ Board as well as the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Austin Bar Association where he serves as a Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee and is a graduate of the 2020 Austin Young Lawyers Association/Austin Bar Association Leadership Academy. He is a recipient of the National Trial Lawyer’s Top 40 Under 40 Award in both 2020 and 2019, one of Austin Monthly’s Top Lawyers in 2020 and 2021 for Plaintiff’s Personal Injury, and multiple Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association Warrior Awards. However, the proudest awards he has been honored with are the trust and appreciation of his clients.
Separate from the law, and when he is not otherwise buried in his books, Josh enjoys exploring Austin’s food scene and trying to recreate the dishes as best he can. Sometimes it works out and sometimes his dog gets the scraps.
