Joe Register

Joe Register is an experienced trial attorney, who, much like the founders of Slingshot Law, began his legal career as a prosecutor trying criminal cases to a jury verdict.  Born and raised in Lufkin, Texas, Joe developed a passion for justice and the legal system thanks to his father, a long-time trial court judge in Angelina County, Texas. Joe attended Texas A&M University, obtaining his undergraduate degree while playing on the school’s baseball team.

Before graduating from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, Joe also gained relevant experience outside of the courtroom working for 5 years as an insurance claims adjuster for a large insurance company. This insider background in the insurance industry gives Joe valuable insight into the personal injury claims handling process, so Joe knows what adjusters are looking for when evaluating your case.

Joe looks forward to fighting for the rights of individuals who have been harmed due to the negligence or wrongful conduct of others and ensuring that his clients recover their losses in full. Joe’s trial skills, analytical thinking, passion for justice, and commitment to clients will continue to serve his clients well. Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing golf, and watching the Texas A&M Aggies.
